Junior QA Engineer

Objective:

Searching for an entry-level position as a Software QA Engineer at a Company of inquisitive and
active people that want to expand their clientele and build their business with new talent. I want to
develop in one of the most innovative industries in the world.

Summary:

— understanding of QA process and QA documentation (experience in developing Test cases,
Checklist, Bug reports,
— understanding of Web services and API testing (experience of testing software and Web),
— basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, XML,
— basic knowledge about API Testing (REST and SOAP),
— usage bug-tracking system Jira,
— tools usage Test Rail, Test Link, Postman, SoapUI (ReadyAPI), DevTools, Fiddler, JMeter,
Selenium Web Driver.

Experience

(Skills gained during the course):

— Understanding the concept of software development life cycle, basic software development
models, requirements gathering, and its analysis;
— Creation of the documentation: Test Plan, Checklist, Test cases, Bug reports;
— Creation of the Test cases in TestRail, execution of the Test cases;
— Strong knowledge of different testing methodologies: functional vs. non-functional, union,
integration, system, performance, regression, usability, acceptance;
— Creation of the bug report and work with a bug-tracking system Jira;
— Understanding software testing techniques (Test Design) White-Box and Black-Box;
— Familiar with Graphical User Interface Testing (GUI): UX and UI Testing;
— Understanding of the client-server architecture;
— Familiar with the basics WEB (HTML, CSS), XML and Xpath;
— Basic knowledge about API Testing (REST and SOAP) using Postman and SoapUI (Ready API);
— Familiar with the basics of mobile application testing;
— Fundamentals of relational databases, writing of basic SQL queries;
— The ability to the identification of the web-page elements using DevTools;
— Basic knowledge about Performance Testing and using JMeter;
— Fundamentals of Automated software testing, experience working with Selenium Web Driver.
