Employment History



May 2015 — current time 

Employer: Huawei Ukraine (Kharkiv, http://www.huawei.com) 
Position: Site Engineer 

Subcontractors’ TSS & CW/TI teams field support, Company’s TI teams coordination and reporting; 

preparing data for equipment ordering, tracking of materials delivery; 

tracking CW/TI activities progress on site; 

commissioning of BTS, MW, MBH equipment; 

equipment faults & alarms handling, troubleshooting; 

negotiation on technical issues with Customer’s engineers; 

site audit according to Huawei and Customer’s requirements; 

providing technical support to Customer during testing new equipment (UMTS split sector solutions, Blade sites); 

participation in acceptance process. 

MW, MBH and BTS equipment have been swapped (Nokia 



Huawei) for more than 700 sites with my participation, UMTS 

services have been launched. About 30 new sites were built. Most of sites are currently finally accepted by the Customer. 
 



September 2013 — May 2015 

Freelance 

I’ve managed my completely staffed and highly qualified TI team providing wide variety of TI services. Typical projects: MW 
«last mile» for suburb or rural customers’ offices, indoor GSM coverage solutions (BTS or repeater with DAS, installation, 
commissioning, testing), 802.11 solutions (design and implementation). 

The most significant project implemented under my direction was the microwave equipment swap on the transport network of 
MTS-Ukraine (currently Vodafone Ukraine, Kharkiv region, Nokia Flexihopper 



 NEC iPasolink). About 100 MW links were safely 

switched to modern equipment with minimal traffic losses. 
 



October 2006 — September 2013

Position: TI Engineer, team leader 

Job Description:

People.net MW roll-out project (Ukraine, 2006 – 2009):

launching a new branch (TI activities for mobile operator’s applications) for the company; 

preparation and starting the project of installation of NEC Pasolink equipment in several Customer’s regional 
departments using Company’s and subcontractor’s TI teams; 

commissioning and fault-handling of MW equipment, field support for subcontractors’ teams; 

negotiating technical issues with Vendor and Customer representatives, acceptance documents design; 

more than 250 hops were successfully integrated and accepted by Customer with my participation. 

The most important for the company projects I’ve participated in 2009 – 2013 were closely associated with telecommunications 
for heavy industry. I was responsible for site surveys, technical design, installation and commissioning (as team leader). Here’re 
some projects: 

National road police video monitoring system integration (real-time license plate recognition, wireless IP solution); 

Underground DECT coverage solution based on Coral & Polycom products (for mining facility, incl. technical design); 

MW «last mile» solution for remote offices (Dnipro power plant & Interpipe factory); 

Large power supply systems (Emerson) maintenance & technical audit.
